When people do product reviews, its a good idea to at least provide measurements so that others can potentially match. I'm 5'8½, 36,32,56. I ordered a 2x, if fits perfect! HOWEVER, I have a natural hourglass shape and simply needed something to smooth out my thighs (which it did) and bring in my lower pooch (which it also did)...but it misshapes my natural figure. The garment holds my hips in way too much by taking away from my hip curves. Moreover, it squares out my waist line, adding additional 2 inches, and make my rear way bigger than I personally nee it to me. Overall, it fits well, doesn't roll up on the thighs nor does it roll down on the waist. This is a great buy for those that dont mind the issues that I have.

I saw sooo many reviews that this garment did not fit right or it was hard to put on. I am a pretty thick lady and according to the sizing chart, it said I needed a 2X. I don't wear a 2X in other clothing but I FOLLOWED THE SIZING CHART SUGGESTIONS. I am so glad that I did because not only is it easy to get into and out of, the banding across the front has some sort of magic in it because it slimmed me out. I have a little FUPA, and it pushed that bad boy right back in and rolled out that under bra roll. So for the love of God ladies, please stop being delusional about the sizing chart and use it. I promise you that you will put it on and slip into your clothes and look fabulous! A bonus is it is easy to take off, espcially since it does not have a gusset!

I’ve had to go to the bathroom for at least 20 minutes but I can’t face having to wrestle myself back into them afterwards. Have you ever watched Steve Irwin wrestle a crocodile? That’s what it looked like when I was flailing around getting these on except sweatier and scarier. Apparently all my other clothes are lying around being size 12/14. I believe these shorts because I’m scared of what they’ll do to me if I don’t listen. That all being said, they’re shockingly comfortable when you get them on and don’t squeeze the life out of you like I’d expect. They also do their job super well, the only issue is getting them on and off to do it.

When you’re plump like me, it really helps to have effective shape wear to put on under a knit cocktail dress. This tummy control body shaper adequately does the job! It’s tight but not doesn’t squeeze the breath out of you. What it does is slim you up and smooth out the line from just under the breasts to down to the mid thigh mark. It also creates a waistline for you if yours has diminished over the years. The shape wear has a diagonal cross-cross over the tummy that noticeably flattens the plump roundness. You could also wear full-length pantyhose or gartered stockings in combination with this shape wear. They’re constructed well with high quality elasticized materials. I like them very much!

I really like this body shaper, I'm 5'1 150 pound and 37inches waist, I bought the large because normally that's the size that I have gotten other body shapers and I honestly thought that they weren't doing as very good job holding my belly in, so when I tried this on I was very happy to see and feel the support around my belly area, I decided to wear it under some leggings to go to a movie and boy did I regretted it, I should have listened to the "order a size up" suggestion because half way through the movie I felt like I wanted to rip it off me, the only reason I didn't is because I paid for it, but it felt like I reshaped my internal organs, it hurt for a few days after, but since it was my fault I can't complain much, but the material is good quality and the support around the belly is what I like the most which is why I'm ordering an XL and keeping the other one because I've been training really hard for the past month so I'm hoping I will be able to use the large again. I do recommend this product, is good quality and make sure you hand wash it because it's worth taking care of.
